PSAA Receives Small Steps Grant

Pagosa Springs Arts Alliance (PSAA) has recently received a Small Steps grant in the amount of $1,000.  The Small Steps grant was given by Colorado Creative Industries, a state agency, to help communities develop strategies for using arts and culture to diversify or strengthen local economies and to strengthen ties within and between cultural groups of their community.  PSAA used these funds to host the 'Open House' for the people of Archuleta County as well as a donation from the Rohrbacher Family Charitable Trust.

 Based on the beloved comic Peanuts, this updated classic enjoyed a successful run on Broadway. The show is a day made up of little moments picked from all the days of Charlie Brown, from Valentine's Day to the baseball season, from wild optimism to utter despair, all mixed in with the lives of his friends (both human and non-human) and strung together on the string of a single day, from bright uncertain morning to hopeful starlit evening. Two new songs, Beethoven Day and My New Philosophy, are added to a score which includes the wonderful numbers The Baseball Game, Suppertime and Happiness.
