All ticket sales for the August 11 performance of Thingamajig Theatre’s Fiddler on the Roof will benefit Aspen House. The production will feature some Aspen House individuals on stage and as back stage crew.
There are no adequate supportive housing options in Archuleta County for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Without affordable and accessible housing, many are at risk for homelessness and institutionalization.
Currently, many adults live with their aging parents or guardians. The parents worry about how their children will live out their lives with the love and support needed and in the town they are familiar with and have a support network created in. They often feel isolated and alone. Aspen House will be a safe and supportive home for those in our community that need it most.
Aspen Services will provide a full range of services to support their daily lives and help them maintain maximum independence while doing so.
